BIO: L.C. Johnson was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. L.C.'s Music Career began in the Summer of the 90's when he was introduced to DJ Muggs by T-Funk of FunkDoobiest. That summer L.C. recorded his demo with DJ Muggs, he gained valuable knowledge and insight from the beat smith. That Fall, LC left to attend College and play Basketball but he still continued writing to perfect his craft. Five years later, L.C. bumped into DJ Muggs at the Huntington Park Casino where Cypress Hill was set to perform with the Liks. Through a mutual friend, DJ Muggs had heard some of L.C.'s latest recordings and invited him to Atlanta to attend the Jack the Rapper conference. Upon returning from the conference, DJ Muggs quickly put L.C. in the studio in preperation of getting him a record deal. At that time, L.C. and DJ Muggs were entertaining offers from different labels. DJ Muggs then gave L.C. and his Playaz Of Life crew the task to produce and be featured on FunkDoobiest's "The TroubleShooters" Album. Two months later, LC suffered a serious back/pelvis injury and was forced to spend time rehabing the injury. Due to the injury, L.C. left the music scene. But, at the request of all people and his mother. He went back to the studio in 2008 with childhood friend Chillo One doing his music.

MUSIC: Production on this mixtape has to be reviewed first due to its lush sounding strings, deep rolls and snapping percussion. It's immediately apparent that L.C. Johnson is comfortable on Mic rocking lyrics with a distinctive booming voice. Which matches well with the production of Droe Jackson to deliver futuristic 90's "Boom Bap" Hip-Hop! Being able to speak to and for this generation has been the "Gap" so to speak that raises questions, when a veteran should speak his peace! This album has electricity blazing throughout each track, with bountiful samples to play the landscape for L.C. to cut his path thru!
